Loctite EDAG 440 AS E&C is a nickel-filled, thermoplastic EMI shielding coating. Loctite EDAG 440 AS E&C provides an operating temperature range of -40 to 95 °C. Compatible with commonly used plastics, this coating finds its application in a variety of scenarios. Typical applications include use as a reflective coating on parabolic antennas and enhancing the durability of plastic housing in consumer electronics and medical equipment.

How to use Loctite EDAG 440 AS E&C:
- For best results, surface to be coated should be dry and clean.
- Thoroughly mix LOCTITE EDAG 440 AS E&C before dilution. The product is usually diluted with Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK). See datasheet for dilution ratios.
- Apply the product by conventional propeller agitated pressure pot spray systems. A 50 to 75 μm dry coating thickness is recommended for good shielding performance.
- LOCTITE EDAG 440 AS E&C dries to touch in about 5 minutes; to handle in about 20 minutes. Full properties will be achieved after 4 to 16 hours drying at room temperature.
Storage
Store Loctite EDAG 440 AS E&C in the unopened container in a cool, dry, well ventilated location. Optimal Storage: 5° C to 30° C. Storage below 5° C or greater than 30° C can adversely affect product properties.
