Heraeus PD955M S2 SMT Adhesive
Product Information
Heraeus PD955M is a thermosetting, single-component polymer adhesive, specifically formulated for surface mounting technology (SMT) applications. This solvent-free adhesive is designed for use in the assembly of SMT components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and bare substrates, ensuring exceptional bond strength. Heraeus PD955M cures in just 3 minutes at 125°C and can endure reflow conditions in line with IPC/JEDEC J-STD-020 standards.
Engineered for precision and consistency, Heraeus PD955M features optimised rheological properties, making it ideal for high-speed dispensing processes. Its reliable formulation provides a wide processing window, allowing for efficient production without the risk of stringing. This polymer adhesive offers excellent adhesion and strict batch-to-batch consistency, guaranteeing reliable performance across all production runs.
Being solvent-free, Heraeus PD955M provides significant advantages over traditional adhesives. With no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), it contributes to a safer working environment, reducing health risks associated with solvent-based adhesives.
