Loctite SI 5075 is a self-fusing, silicone rubber wrap. The product is black in colour and is recommended for dependable, temporary repairs across a diverse range of substrates. Unlike conventional adhesives, Loctite SI 5075 does not bond to the substrate: it fuses to itself when wrapped around an object, ensuring a secure and lasting seal. From flexible hose repairs to pipe fixes, tool handle wraps, and electrical insulation, this insulating wrap excels across a spectrum of tasks.

Engineered to withstand the harshest conditions, Loctite SI 5075 is resistant to UV rays, salt water, fuels, and acids. With a service temperature range spanning from -54 to +260°C, this versatile tape remains effective even in extreme temperatures. How to use Loctite SI 5075 Insulating Sealing Wrap:

1. Separate Loctite SI 5075 from the liner.
2. Peel away enough wrap to complete the repair.
3. Press one end onto the surface and begin to wrap.
4. Stretch the silicone wrap tightly while wrapping over the repair area.
5. Wrap the area with a two-thirds overlap, to ensure optimal sealing.
6. Finish wrapping by overlapping with a previous layer.

Storage

Store Loctite SI 5075 Insulating Sealing Wrap in the unopened container in a dry location. Optimal storage: 8° C to 21° C. Storage below 8° C or greater than 28° C can adversely affect product properties.
