Loctite SI 5615 Silicone Sealant
Product Information
Loctite SI 5615 Silicone Sealant is a 2-part, black silicone adhesive designed for industrial applications requiring fast curing and superior heat tolerance. This premium silicone-based bonding and sealing agent is engineered to withstand high temperatures of up to 180°C. Mixing Part A and Part B initiates the primary curing reaction. This is followed by a secondary cure with atmospheric moisture, forming a skin over the adhesive surface in approximately 12 minutes. Full cure is achieved within 7 days.
Loctite SI 5615 offers outstanding bond strength to both glass and metals, ensuring a secure and durable hold. Its thixotropic properties allow for precise application, even in challenging conditions. Loctite SI 5615’s heat resistance makes it ideal for applications in high-temperature environments, such as bonding glass stovetop assemblies and weld and rivet reduction.
- 2-part alkoxy silicone adhesive and sealant
- Fast curing time (12 min)
- High temperature resistance up to 180°C
- Excellent bonding strength to glass and metals

How to use Loctite SI 5615 Silicone Sealant:
- For best results, bonding surfaces should be clean and free from grease and other contaminants. We recommend a general purpose cleaner such as Loctite SF 7063.
- When using a new cartridge, remove cartridge cap and dispense a small amount of adhesive, making sure both parts A&B are extruding. Attach nozzle and dispense another 25 to 50mm before application.
- Apply Loctite SI 5615 as soon as possible after mixing.
- After dispensing the product, mate parts immediately to ensure maximum bond strength.
- Allow for full curing time before subjecting to heavy service loads.
Storage
Store Loctite SI 5615 in the unopened container in a dry location. Optimal storage: 8°C to 21°C. Storage below 8 °C or greater than 28 °C can adversely affect product properties.
