3M Cold Shrink Cable Joint LC4-STFF1

For multi-core, low-voltage power cables up to 1.9/3.3 kV and some multi-pair cables use 3M Cold Shrink Cable Joint LC4-STFF1. Our kit is designed for flexible or trailing cables, cable tray applications and indoor applications. It’s suitable for XLPE/PVC insulated, steel wire armoured and PVC sheathed cables, with or without a lead sheath. Power cable sizes 185-400 mm² (single core) 70-120 mm² (2 core), 35-70 mm² (3 core), 25-50 mm² (4 core) and 16-50 mm² (3 core, 3.3 kV). Additional mechanical protection may be required for direct burial.The STFF shield, made up of layers of woven glass fabric and high temperature silica protects against smoke, toxicity, flame and fumes. It allows the installation of standard joints and accessories in areas such as underground rail, tunnels, and any application where fire-resistant, halogen-free, or low-toxicity products are required to be installed. 3M Cold Shrink technology eliminates the need for resin, heat and special tools to make a quick, simple and reliable installation. The Cold Shrink outer protection tube provides a reliable environmental seal, and is resistant to acid, alkalis, ozone and ultraviolet (UV) light.
